Covid 19

As you all know there's already talks about opening the country, despite the current cases that are still being reported throughout the U.S.. I recently came across a post on my facebook timeline, which mentioned the reopening of barbershops, hair & nail salons, being among a few of the businesses being allow to reopen. But the catch is their being open to provide services for essential workers, that is a load bs if you ask me. I mean what about the folks who have most likely lost their jobs, because the company they work for could not bounce back from the lost of income. And now these people have to find new jobs, you can't expect them to go on job interviews looking like a cast member from the show survivor.

I would rather own a job than to have a job in any economy, I'd rather work for myself than to work for someone else making them money. All the while knowing, they would replace me at any giving time if I don't comply with company policies. If you don't know by now that a job/career is nothing more than modern day slavery, I honestly feel sorry for you. In these days and times there are so many resources available to you, for opening and starting your own business. And if you're a Black African or Indigenous American, you really owe it to yourself to set the stepping stone in your family for generational wealth.

The main reason why we as a people and a culture are failing to assert our own economy and nationality, is because we are the only culture who don't support our own. We spend the most money then any culture in the U.S., but won't support black businesses. It's time we rebuild a bigger and better black Wall Street and do like every other culture, who migrate into foreign countries and build gas stations, carry outs, hair & nail salons, massage parlors and ect..

The National Negro Business League (NNBL) was founded by the iconic Booker T. Washington on August 23, 1900, in Boston, Massachusetts. The NNBL, which predated the United States Chamber of Commerce by 12 years, strived to enhance the professional, commercial, and economic prosperity of the Black community. The NNBL was formally incorporated in New York City, NY, in 1901 and established more than 600 chapters throughout the US and internationally by 1915. In 1966, the NNBL was reincorporated in Washington, District of Columbia, and was renamed the National Business League (NBL). On June 19, 2017, the NBL merged and launched a three-year strategic plan to return the trade association back to its original luster and prominence as the oldest voice for Black businesses in America and across the globe.

In the spirit of entrepreneurship we are currently seeking kind donation to obtain and fund, our ongoing membership with the Greater Austin Black Chamber of Commerce. To afford our company with a greater opportunity, towards making an even greater impact within our communities. Donations starts at  $25.00 per donation and maxes out at $250.00. We would like to extend a warm thank you in advance, we greatly appreciate any and all kind donations.
