No Truer Words Has Ever Been Spoken

After celebrating my birthday yesterday, I had a sudden moment of enlightenment after scrolling through my time line feeds on facebook. I believe a lot of people of color can relate to the helpless feeling that washes over us, whenever we read an article similar to that of the Brock Turner situation.

For those of you who are unaware of the story, Brock now 22 years of age. Was convicted for sexually assaulting a woman who was passed out at a campus party when he was 19, and was sentenced to six months of jail time and 3 years of probation. Which he had only served 3 months and who knows if he was held to his 3 years of probation, by now you can see where I'm going with this. The sentencing judge Aaron Persky of Santa Clara County Superior Court, was recalled. The first judge recalled in California in more than 80 years.

White privilege is alive and well, and far to often we see it working in plane site day in and day out.

Which is why I've decided to do something about it, instead of watching it happen over and over again from the side lines like most people. Who do nothing more than share these types of articles across there social media platform, not having the means to make much of a difference.

This summer we are taking the initiative to make a difference and we need your help, we will be incorporating a foundation. That will make a difference in today's society from providing scholarships for our exceptional young, talented and gifted kids. Rooming and board for the homeless and disable veterans, educate and financially assist first time home buyers. Hold anyone, company, business and/or organization. Responsible for any and/or all wrong doing regardless of his/her government title or position, today's legal system isn't one to reform inmates as it should. And we strive to become apart of a working solution to implement what a real prison reform system should be, by studying others currently being practiced.
